Advanced Training for English Teachers takes up the Challenge to raise the bar of English language teaching above current international standards and to make Malaysia the leader in this pivotal discipline,
by emphasizing direct use and application
by simulating "immersion" in a native setting
by social "survival skills" (negotiating through critical, pivotal & high pressure situations)
by exoisure to the power of idioms in controlling a conversation
by training with drama For "high-pressure" settings
by Focusing on relationship-building and team-building
by starting with a strong Foundation of fluid pronunciation
At the heart of this course is examination and analysis of eight classic Modern dramas, plus their emphasizes dynamic, constant engagement as the secret to learning a foreign language. The classroom becomes a context for immersion with relevant expressions, including learning to negotiate and "survive" through conflicts of interest in every dimension of life and civilization, using the English Language.
The course also includes an in-depth look at major forms of conflict-resolution. In addition to these new units of learning, a thorough-going review of phonetics and grammar is conducted plus a large installment of empowering bocabulary words and idioms. The course concludes with an in-depth review of Bloom's Taxonomy as the principle filter of curriculum-writing.
